Robofish is a prototype of a mechanical fish based on the design of a real sea bream. It is made with a transparent plastic case and silicone fins to give it smooth movements in the water.
It can coexist with real fish in an aquarium and is meant to entertain both in and out of the water. The creators of Robofish believe that robots should be used to both help and surprise people, and see the main function of the robot fish as entertainment.
